We have been sharing our vision over the last few weeks and we pray that it has stirred something in your heart. May we be burdened (in the best way possible) with the big, but wonderful vision of Jesus. May it be like a fire in your bones that makes you unable to keep quiet or sit still, or remain the same, but may it move all of us into all God has for us.
So many people out there desperately need the hope that only Jesus gives. So many people are isolated and alone and in need of authentic community and a place to belong, and our world is crying out for transformation in every sphere.
God has given us a big vision, and we have to guard, fervently, against become comfortable or complacent where we are.
We have to keep asking ourselves the question about how we ensure we are reaching out and that we are believing Him for big things; allowing Him to stir up our passion and a holy discontent with the status quo; that we are allowing Him to break our hearts for the things that break His so that we cannot just carry on as we are.
Fredrick Buechner that says, “The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.”
We don’t believe that any of you are here by accident. God has placed us all here in this united community for a reason, and for a collective vision He wants to see accomplished, and the things that ignite your heart and make you come alive are part of His great plan.
