This past Sunday we kicked off our “Pursue” series. For the next few weeks we’ll be talking about intentionally and purposefully following Jesus and what that looks like in our day to day lives. There are so many things that vie for our attention and so much that distracts us from the things that really matter, but our prayer is that as we talk about pursuing Jesus with all our hearts, we will come back to what really matters again – or perhaps, for the first time.
What are you really chasing? On what are you spending your energy and your life? Let it be Jesus. May it be what will matter for eternity.
During this series there are lots of ways to go deeper and engage. This week (24-30 January) we have set aside as a special week of prayer for our church community as we seek God personally and corporately. We really encourage you to make use of the prayer stations set up at the church and to download and use the prayer guide you can find on our website (www.hoperidge.org/resources). Please also join us for corporate prayer and worship events on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 6:30pm.
We look forward to the next few weeks as we pursue Jesus and all He has for us together.
In faith and gratitude,
Crae and Deline
